Job summary

RAC Scarborough is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, covering local areas and helping members get back on the road quickly.

With a Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, you’ll work in a flexible, demand-led role, earning a market base salary and realistic OTE, plus extensive RAC benefits and career progression

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day at home with local area focus.
• Utilise provided RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit to complete calls.
