Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in Plymouth. You’ll perform roadside diagnostics and repairs, starting and finishing at your home with an RAC van, tools, and support provided.

The role covers a Plymouth cluster and nationwide callouts, focusing on rapid roadside fixes and member service. You’ll hold a Level 2 qualification with 2+ years of related experience, have a customer-focused mindset, and carry a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• 2+ years post-qualification technical/electrical/diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Get members back on the road quickly and confidently.
