RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in Plymouth. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members on the move.

Start and finish from home with local duties across Plymouth and surrounding areas, covering shifts averaging about 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities. Applicants need Level 2 light vehicle maintenance certification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• A customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle calls head-on and provide quick, confident solutions while ensuring excellent member service.
