Job summary
RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in Plymouth. You’ll start and finish from home, work in the Plymouth cluster, and cover nearby towns. A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience are required.
Expect a market-competitive base salary of £36,400 with realistic OTE of £61,000 and overtime opportunities. You’ll be provided with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and diagnostic kit, with shifts around 40 hours per week and
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
- Provide emergency breakdown support across the local area.
- Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions.
- Work with RAC van, tools and diagnostic kit supplied.
