Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and roadside repairs. You’ll work in the Horsham cluster area, start and finish at home, and be responsible for returning members to the road with rapid diagnostic and repair skills.

You’ll hold a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, a customer-focused mindset, and a full UK driving licence. RAC provides a dedicated van, tools and support.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle faults such as flat batteries or tyre changes with quick, confident solutions.
• Start and end day from home, using tools and diagnostic kit provided.
