Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll be responsible for expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

You’ll start and finish your day at home, and be equipped with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit. With a Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, you’ll deliver quick, confident solutions and outstanding member service on every call-out.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs at the roadside
• Start and finish at home, with RAC van, fuel card and tools provided
