RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end at home, using your RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit to tackle a variety of fault calls with confidence and professionalism.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years of experience (plus 5+ years in the field), you’ll join a team known for reliability and member-first service in a dynamic, field-based

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on with your RAC van and tools.
• Provide quick, confident solutions while delivering outstanding member service.
