Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the UK. You’ll use a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years’ experience to perform roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support nationwide.

You will start and end your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit supplied. Expect a 40-hour week with optional overtime and a strong earnings outlook.

Qualifications

• You must have an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' roadside experience is required.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and breakdown support.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
• Start and finish your day at home, with RAC van and tools provided.
