Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and help members continue their journeys safely.

Starting on your driveway with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime, you’ll receive a structured development programme and the opportunity to achieve IMI accreditation as you grow.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK
• Provide emergency breakdown support and quick, confident solutions
• Diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely

Education
