RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician in the UK to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and provide confident, safety-focused service to keep drivers moving.

Join a structured development path with IMI accreditation opportunities, a generous base salary (£36,400) with a realistic OTE (£61,000) and numerous benefits. Expect shifts around 40 hours weekly and overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults quickly and deliver solutions to get members back on the road.
• Work with latest diagnostic tools and maintain high standards of customer service.
