Job summary
RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions, and reassure members in their time of need, working independently to keep drivers moving.
This role offers a strong base pay of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000 and overtime options, plus a structured development programme and IMI accreditation opportunities to advance your career in
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely.
- Use the latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road quickly and safely.
