Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform tyre changes and battery work, and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.

The role offers a structured development pathway, IMI accreditation opportunities, and a base salary of £36,400 with an on-target earnings potential around £61,000. You’ll typically work 40 hours weekly with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Hands-on diagnostics and vehicle repair experience
