Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division, delivering expert roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll start and finish from home, working with your RAC van, fuel card, and a full set of tools.

You’ll need a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a technician, and a full UK driving licence with <6 points. Competitive base pay and attainable overtime await.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic alternative.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and operate with RAC van, fuel card and tools.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members on each call.
