Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and deliver fast, confident service to members in challenging conditions.

Starting and finishing at home, you’ll use a RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit to reach customers quickly. A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience and a clean UK licence are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 qualification or 5+ years experience as a technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
