Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from your home driveway and using a supplied RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit.

Achieve quick, confident solutions while delivering excellent member service. We offer a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £60,000; overtime and bonuses can significantly boost earnings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with <6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Utilise RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit to complete calls
