Job summary

A leading automotive services company located in Bradford is seeking a skilled Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle faults on-site. You will engage directly with customers, providing excellent service while utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Competitive remuneration includes a salary of £35,000 basic, with potential earnings up to £53,000 including bonus and overtime. Qualifications

Roadside Technician

Location: Bradford. Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus & overtime | OTE £53,000. Hours: 40 hours per week. Reference: 29640.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults including mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Carry out routine maintenance such as brake inspections, fluid checks, and battery replacements
  • Use the latest diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix complex faults on-site
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly communicating repair options and solutions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised mobile workspace
  • Record all work completed accurately using company systems
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a workshop or mobile technician environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points (no disqualifications)
