Our passion for innovation keeps us one step ahead in the rapidly changing and increasingly challenging environments within which we perform, whether on the battlefield, in the streets of our cities, or at the world's largest sporting events.

High performance IP Video, communications, and broadcast systems enable our customers to securely monitor, control, communicate, and share information with confidence in complex environments and in the most demanding situations.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Production & RMA Manager, the RMA Engineer plays a critical role in delivering a world-class post-sales repair and support service for customers using DOMO Tactical Communications (DTC) products and solutions. Operating within a dynamic electronics and RF environment, the RMA Engineer is responsible for managing the return and repair process, performing detailed fault diagnosis, and ensuring all products are restored to the required quality and performance standards.

This is a technically focused role that requires strong diagnostic skills, hands-on experience in electronic repair to component or sub-assembly level, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The RMA Engineer will be expected to manage workflow effectively using business RMA systems, ensuring timely communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Working as part of a customer-focused and quality-driven team, the RMA Engineer will be instrumental in maintaining repair standards, improving turnaround times, and supporting feedback loops to drive product and process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating all aspects of the customer RMA repair and corrective action process, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Performing fault diagnosis and repair of electronic/RF equipment to component or sub-assembly level, followed by full functional testing.
  • Accurately recording all repair activities, configuration changes, and associated data in business systems.
  • Scheduling and integrating RMA repairs into the weekly production plan as needed to support operational priorities.
  • Monitoring and reporting RMA metrics (weekly/monthly) and contributing to product and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Support teams to resolve technical issues and maintain optimal repair stock levels.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring a methodical, hands-on approach to electronic repair, with strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of the impact of post-sales service on customer satisfaction. A background in electronics or electrical engineering, supported by practical fault-finding experience and technical proficiency, is essential for success in this role.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic or RF equipment, with strong practical skills in soldering and mechanical assembly.
  • Sound understanding of electrical/electronic principles, with the ability to work to test procedures and apply debug methodologies.
  • Familiarity with production test methodologies, quality control processes, and the use of RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers and power meters.
  • Proficient in data interpretation, fault identification, and the use of business systems to track repair activity and product history.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills for documenting work and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organised, proactive, and quality-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • Candidates must also be eligible to undergo UK Security Clearance.
