Location: London / Leicester / Bexhill

Hybrid: Expected in the office once a week

The Role

You will support the Risk Pricing Manager in achieving profit and growth targets by developing and delivering new insights, integrating innovative data sources, analytical techniques, and ways of working. The role involves identifying opportunities to expand our competitive footprint, addressing unprofitable business, and collaborating with teams across the wider business to drive strategic improvements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Analyse claims experience and competitive position to inform pricing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to adjust prices or underwriting footprint to meet targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and customer mix within designated segments.
  • Conduct market analysis and track competitor activity and performance.
  • Support rate change processes from concept through delivery and ongoing refinement.
  • Assist in producing risk pricing tools and underwriting management information.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with statistical/data manipulation tools.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving change.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information and make informed decisions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence to express opinions and challenge constructively.
