Risk & Best Practice Manager - Bath

Fantastic opportunity to join a Risk & Best Practice team at a top 100 law firm where you will be reporting into the Senior Risk & Best Practice Lawyer.

The role:

  • Advising partners and staff on a wide range of compliance issues from ethics and professional standards to data protection and conflicts of interest
  • Leading and delivering risk and compliance projects with confidence and clarity
  • Collaborating with divisional and business leads on new initiatives, ensuring compliance is built in from the start
  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes, keeping the firm ahead of the curve
  • Creating and delivering tailored training programmes across divisions
  • Drafting and updating policies, bulletins, and precedent documents
  • Producing and analysing compliance data to drive process improvements
  • Coaching junior team members

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience of working in risk and compliance in a law firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of SRA Standards & Regulations, GDPR, AML, and complaints handling process
  • Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills
  • A proactive mindset and attention to detail
