Job description
Overview

Start October 2025. Mactech require a Rigging Supervisor to join a team working on the prefabrication, installation and erection of piping systems on the mechanical scope at Hinkley Point C.

The Rigging Supervisor will be responsible for the planning, execution, and safety of all lifting and rigging operations at site.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise lifting and rigging activities at site to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Oversee the execution of lifting plans and ensure adherence to safety procedures and project requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar role
  • Level 3 Diploma in Moving Loads OR Erecting Engineering Construction Capital Plant Steel Structures OR Engineering Construction Lifting, Positioning and Installing Structures, Plant & Equipment
  • Enrolment onto ILM Level 3 Certificate C&BE plus completion of Nuclear Unit OR Nuclear Engineering Construction Supervisor (NECS)
  • LATS OR SSSTS OR IOSH Managing Safely, CCNSG Safety Passport
Shift & Working Pattern
  • Expected shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, 50 hours per week initially, changing to 10/4 working arrangement from October 2025
