Qualifications

• Must hold an MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration required.
• Rheumatology Specialty Certificate Examination must be completed.
• MRCP certification is desirable.
• Good Clinical Practice training is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical cover as part of a multidisciplinary team for clinical research studies.
• Engage in study development and participant recruitment.
• Maintain accurate records as required by regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with Clinical Studies Manager and support staff on study targets.

Skills

Use of statistical programmes such as STATA and R

Knowledge of electronic data capture systems e.g. Medidata and MACRO

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical degree
