A housing and support organization in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated individual to manage their retirement housing scheme and provide support to vulnerable residents. The role includes maintaining high-quality service delivery, communication with residents and families, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with vulnerable individuals and strong communication skills. You\'ll manage our retirement housing scheme Normanhurst in Cambridge. Normanhust has 44 studio flats with residents who are semi-independent. You would also support a nearby block of 12 self contained properties, being the main point of contact for signposting and giving information around repairs and rents. Regular social activities include: bingo, coffee mornings, various social events throughout the year with new residents accepted from 50 years of age. We\'re looking for someone who truly cares about, and has deep knowledge of, issues affecting vulnerable people and the elderly. If you\'re someone who wants to make a difference to vulnerable older people to their wellbeing and understand that social isolation can happen anywhere and to anybody then this could be the role for you. You\'ll work closely with and support the Retirement Housing Manager in delivering a high-quality Retirement Housing service to our organisation.
