Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver a smooth shopping experience for customers.
• Open/close the store and manage duty cover with safety as a priority.
• Serve as go-to person for colleagues in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Support Store Manager in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and well presented.
• Prioritise product replenishment to meet customer needs.
• Ensure POS and shelf labels reflect best practices.
• Address overcharges and prevent recurrence.
• Manage queues to enhance the customer journey.
• Schedule staff breaks around trade patterns.
• Be a store expert, helping others improve store operations.
• Follow health and safety routines and ensure team compliance.
• Communicate effectively with the team and managers.
• Suggest operational improvements to the Store Manager.
