Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily store operations, drive customer service, manage opening and closing duties, and lead the team to deliver a great shopping experience for local customers.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, balance service and replenishment, handle safety protocols, and foster an inclusive, supportive environment that reflects One Stop's values and community focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and manage duty cover, ensuring safety and customer focus.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support the Store Manager to coordinate events and foster an inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products that matter to customers.
• Manage queue and customer service to deliver a great shopping trip.
• Balance service and replenishment across the store and manage staff breaks.
• Act as a recognised Keyholder and respond to alarm call outs when needed.
• Communicate effectively and share improvements with the Store Manager.
