Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise and motivate store colleagues, ensuring a high standard of customer service and smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll lead in-store activities, coach staff, and act as the go-to person for operational questions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team lead or management role in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver great customer service and meet customer needs.
• Clear communicator capable of keeping the team informed and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver a great in-store customer experience.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and respond to queries from colleagues.
• Foster inclusive, positive relationships to support team performance.
• Step in as store lead in the Manager’s absence.
• Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt to change.
• Coach colleagues, provide feedback, and model excellent service.
