Job summary

A major recruitment agency is offering a fantastic opportunity for a security team role within a leading retail sector at one of the largest shopping complexes in the South East. Candidates will ensure high security standards and customer service to visitors. Responsibilities include regular patrols and assistance to contractors. Applicants should hold a front line SIA licence and demonstrate customer-focused experience. The position requires professionalism and can-do attitude, with shifts involving 4 days on and 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Smart appearance.
• Experience of working in a retail environment.
• Able to work unsupervised and take responsibility.
• Able to remain calm under pressure.
• Must be able to attend work in line with shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors and tenants within the site.
• Carry-out regular patrols.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures.
• Be professional, friendly and courteous whilst carrying out duties.
• Ensure that all incidents have a timely response.
• Maintain constant monitoring of radio systems.
• Regularly liaise with management team.
• Provide assistance to third party contractors.

Skills

Front line SIA licence

Experience of working in a customer focused environment

Good clear communication skills

First Aid qualified or willing to work towards the qualification

CCTV SIA licence (desirable)
