Job description

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Headquartered in London, CACI Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of CACI International Inc., a publicly listed company on the NYSE with annual revenue in excess of US $6.2bn and employing approx. 22,000 people worldwide.

CACI Ltd is an international data and technology consultancy with £154m turnover and 1200 employees. We are passionate, progressive and unafraid of challenge; our mission is to use technology and data-driven insight to make a commercial difference.

We provide expert advice and hands‑on system management to help our national and global clients get the most from technology and data. We use innovation wisely to deliver well thought‑out digital solutions and software.

CACI's Consumer & Market Intelligence and Experience & Transformation groups provide data, software and consulting services to improve our clients' sales and marketing programmes.

We help clients find, retain and grow profitable customers through our understanding of consumer characteristics and behaviour. And we help commercial property developers and retailers plan retail provision in the UK and overseas.

C&MI and E&T Groups help clients shape the vision, define the strategy and deliver a truly integrated customer experience. Our services are based on in‑depth understanding of individual consumer behaviour and marketing technology which influence the way consumers buy products and services through a combination of data, technology and consultancy.

This is a standout opportunity to lead the insight function within CACI's highly regarded Retail Finance Benchmarking group and to become our authoritative voice on market intelligence. As a senior figure in the team, your work will be central to helping CACI both retain and grow our customer base through high quality, influential insight.

In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of the retail finance market to transform CACI's rich data assets into actionable, commercially valuable insights that give our members a competitive edge. You'll take ownership of defining, crafting and delivering our insight content – supported by our Tableau experts – while ensuring every output demonstrates clarity, rigour and a strong narrative.

As the face of our insight capability, you'll play a prominent client facing role: shaping the story behind our data, presenting to member organisations at industry conferences and webinars, and supporting Relationship Managers during quarterly business reviews, customer workshops and tailored presentations. You will proactively identify relevant trends from both CACI datasets and opensource market intelligence, ensuring our clients always receive timely, thought provoking perspectives. In addition, you will brief the wider team on emerging market trends and developments, keeping colleagues informed and equipped with the latest insight to support their own work and client conversations.

This is a dynamic and highly visible position, offering significant scope to elevate your professional profile within the retail finance industry. You'll work with an unusually rich dataset, engage with a wide network of financial services brands, and have the autonomy to set the direction of our insight agenda.

The role reports to the Director of the Retail Finance Benchmarking group.

Who you are
  • You have strong knowledge of the products and/or consumer behaviour in the Retail Finance market, ideally with experience in one or more of: Mortgages, Savings, Current Accounts, or Personal Loans.
  • You bring proven experience in developing insights and communicating them clearly and confidently to clients.
  • You’re an engaging and confident presenter who can bring complex concepts to life through compelling storytelling, whether in person or online.
  • You’re familiar with relevant public datasets – such as Bank of England statistics, HPI – and can contextualise them within broader market trends.
  • You’re commercially and economically aware, with a solid grasp of the consumer and market forces shaping retail finance.
  • You’re a critical thinker with strong analytical skills, able to interrogate large datasets through visual analysis and draw out meaning, narrative and thought leadership.
  • You write with precision and clarity – capable of producing high quality commentary that resonates with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency and strong brand representation in every output.
  • You understand best practice data communication techniques and can adapt your style for different audiences and formats.
  • You build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels and thrive in a team environment.
  • You’re disciplined in following well defined processes and comfortable working across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • You have a strong command of Microsoft Office – particularly PowerPoint – and can develop polished, impactful presentations.
  • You are proactive, creative, and confident in taking ownership of a key strategic area.

While not essential, experience with BI tools (such as Tableau) will help you stand out from the crowd.
