Job summary

John Lewis seeks a Customer Assistant to deliver outstanding in-store service and help create memorable shopping experiences across our Nottingham shop. You will maintain displays, ensure stock availability and uphold high standards of cleanliness to enhance loyalty to our brand.

You will engage with customers, using product knowledge and friendly communication to guide choices, answer queries and support the team across till, stock and shop-keeping tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic IT literacy is required to operate tills and stock systems.
• Excellent communication helps you assist customers and reflect the John Lewis brand.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
• Use product knowledge and training to drive sales and increase profits for the Partnership.
• Put the customer at the heart of everything you do, understanding and resolving queries.
• Flexibly work across the shop to support the wider team, including till support, stock replenishment and shop-keeping tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.
• Assist with accurate stock counts to protect profits.
