Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Assistant for our John Lewis shops. You will deliver outstanding customer service, showcase our in-store experiences and maintain high shop standards across displays, stock availability and general cleanliness.

On days that you work, you’ll assist customers with product knowledge, till support and stock replenishment, ensuring a seamless shopping journey while contributing to a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic IT literacy.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
• Use product knowledge and sales training to drive sales and increase profits for the Partnership.
• Put the customer at the heart of everything you do and resolve queries effectively.
• Work flexibly across the shop to support the wider team, including till support, stock replenishment, price ticketing and general shop-keeping tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.
• Help protect profits by supporting accurate stock counts.
