Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury's stores.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies.
• Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
• Enjoy working in a customer focused environment and produce sparkling results for customers.
• Have an eye for detail and cleanliness, with a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

We are looking to recruit a part-time in-store cleaner based in Sainsbury's Brightlingsea store on a fixed term basis until February 2026. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day off
• Monday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Thursday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Friday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Saturday: 06:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
