Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd in Scotland is recruiting a Restaurant Team Leader to help deliver an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants. You will coach staff, support management, and drive service standards while promoting our Dobbies Club membership.

The role requires passion for food and hospitality, supervisory experience and a team-focused, proactive attitude in a busy environment. You’ll value safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction as part of our welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles with supervisory responsibility.
• Passion for food and hospitality and delivering great customer experience.
• Ability to work well in a busy team environment.
• Punctual and well-presented with a can-do attitude.
• Food safety qualification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and coaching other staff and deputising for management in their absence.
• Giving great customer service by helping customers with transactions across the restaurant.
• Working with the team to maintain staff efficiency and high service levels across stations.
• Driving sales through customer interactions and promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Ensuring compliance with Restaurant procedures and monitoring standards.
• Handling customer queries with product knowledge, allergies and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Some keyholder responsibilities may be required.
