Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead operations across our in-store restaurants, ensuring excellent customer experience, strong health and safety standards and achievement of commercial targets.

You will manage kitchen and front-of-house, coach teams, control stock and budgets, and drive events such as seasonal fixtures. A passionate hospitality background is essential, with ability to adapt to seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant management experience with focus on hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness and budgeting skills.
• Experience in stock control and compliance with health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fast-paced restaurant operation, kitchen and front of house.
• Lead an engaged team focused on exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure strict health and safety compliance at all times.
• Manage stock to minimise wastage and support delivery of targets.
• Support in-store events and seasonal fixtures.
• Communicate with central support teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Work with Garden Centre Management to run a safe, commercially successful store.
