Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd in Scotland is recruiting a Restaurant Manager to lead our in-store restaurant teams, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and strong commercial performance across kitchen and front of house. You will have proven restaurant management experience, strong budgeting skills, stock control discipline and a commitment to health & safety.

You’ll coach, develop and inspire colleagues through seasonal peaks and events.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and proven restaurant management experience.
• Commercial awareness with budgets and profitability.
• Ability to manage stock and enforce health & safety rules.
• Identify training needs and coach teams to deliver great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fast-paced restaurant operation, taking responsibility for both the kitchen and front of house operation
• Lead an engaged team, focused on delivering a great customer experience and making it work for our customer
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Effective stock management controls, to minimise wastage and ensure the kitchen has everything it needs
• Support the delivery of in store events, including Breakfast with Santa and Afternoon Teas
• Communicate effectively with central support teams to maintain smooth operations and feedback to improve our business
• Work as part of the Garden Centre Management team to deliver a safe working enviroment, commercially successful store and a great place to work for our colleagues
