Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to coach staff, deliver excellent customer service, and support restaurant operations on site in Royston. This role focuses on maintaining standards, promoting the Dobbies Club, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, fostering collaboration, growth, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing hospitality role is essential.
• Supervisory experience and ability to coach staff.
• Food safety qualifications are an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach team members and deputise for management when needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service across the restaurant.
• Work with the team to maintain high service standards and cleanliness.
• Drive sales by promoting Dobbies Club Membership.
• Follow restaurant procedures and ensure staff adhere to guidelines.
• Respond to customer queries with product knowledge, including allergies and dietary requirements.
• Support keyholder tasks as required.
