Hours, Salary and Benefits

  • 18 hours per week
  • £21 - £23.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Watling Street Practice nursing team, you will be working from our surgery in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respiratory Nurse to join our clinical team; someone with excellent communication skills, astrong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Job responsibilities
  • Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Feno/Spiro/COPD
  • Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, bloods
  • Ability to do referrals to local services
  • Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate
  • Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
