A local council organization in Walsall is seeking Residential Childcare Workers to provide care for children in residential homes. The role requires engaging with children and achieving positive outcomes. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in residential child care and be at least 21 years old. This position is casual with no guaranteed hours, offering an excellent opportunity for those passionate about child welfare.

We have a number of opportunities in children’s homes in Walsall:
We currently provide residential care for looked after children at six children’s homes located in Walsall. In 2025, we adopt a child centred approach and actively promote children’s rights. We deliver our services in safe, personalised, small group care which promotes children’s welfare.
Our Residential Homes can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the employees must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
