Job summary

Homes for Students in Brighton is looking for a Resident Services Assistant & Housekeeper. You will deliver a warm welcome, reception support, and day‑to‑day help desk assistance across student accommodations.

You will support back‑office operations, assist with open days, intake, and departures, and help students and visitors while maintaining high hygiene standards in kitchens, offices, and communal areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students and visitors with a warm, professional welcome.
• Provide reception support and help desk assistance for queries.
• Support back‑office admin tasks for the operations team and General Manager.
• Assist with open days, intake days, and departures, and help students, visitors and external contacts.
• Carry out planned and reactive cleaning duties to a high standard across buildings.
