Job summary

Homes for Students in Manchester is hiring a Residence Services Assistant for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, to welcome students and support reception and help desk services. You will also assist with back-office tasks, coordinating with the operations team to ensure a smooth student experience.

Ideal candidates will deliver cheerful, high-quality customer care, handle inquiries across email, phone and in person, and stay organised in a busy environment while helping resolve any issues

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service with a helpful, patient attitude.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in presenting information accurately and professionally.
• Team player with flexible approach and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm meet-and-greet reception and help desk support.
• Assist with administrative tasks for operations team and General Manager.
• Support open days, intake days and departures.
• Respond to student and visitor inquiries via email, website, telephone, and in person.
• Address and resolve complaints to maintain high service standards.
