Job summary

Unite Group, via Unite Students and Hello Student brands, seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to lead operations and frontline teams across a student property. You will oversee resident services, housekeeping and coordination to ensure safety, cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents.

You’ll work closely with the Cluster Operations Manager to drive service excellence, support commercial performance and maintain high standards of property presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, property or operational environment.
• Experience supervising or supporting teams.
• Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
• Proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational running of the property to high standards.
• Lead frontline teams, resident services and housekeeping.
• Deliver an excellent resident experience and resolve queries quickly.
• Maintain property presentation, cleanliness and safety.
• Support sales, retention and occupancy performance.
• Oversee housekeeping operations and contractor coordination.
• Monitor performance and identify service improvements.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance standards are met and audits supported.
• Act as a key contact on shift and participate in Duty Manager rota.
