Unite Group in Oxford is seeking an Operations Assistant to welcome residents and visitors, support day-to-day operations, and maintain a safe, vibrant living environment across Unite Students or Hello Student brands.

You will be the friendly face, handling enquiries, coordinating check-ins/viewings and assisting events to create a smooth resident experience. This busy, people-focused role rewards proactive teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Enjoy working with people in busy, varied environments.
• Experience in student accommodation or hospitality is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
• Support the full resident journey including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support.
• Deliver property viewings and support bookings, helping drive occupancy and retention.
• Support resident engagement activities, helping create a welcoming and vibrant community.
• Respond to maintenance issues, making safe where required and raising requests for resolution.
• Carry out building checks and support safety procedures, ensuring the property remains safe and compliant.
• Support emergency response procedures when required.
• Maintain high property standards, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well presented.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems.
