About the role

This is a full-time opportunity in our Resident Empowerment Team.

Your role will be to work with the team to deliver a variety of strategic engagement activities across the full range of council services to drive service improvement, strategy and business planning by ensuring residents views are at the heart of everything we do.

You will support the delivery of statutory consultations as well as planning and facilitating diverse community forums and assemblies.

You will support the development, coordination and review of a landlord wide improvement plan to address Social Housing Regulatory compliance.

You will provide support for community groups and residents association to empower them to be independent and well managed.

About the Person

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with experience of delivering community engagement activities in a similar role in a local authority or other public facing organisations.

You will have strong communication skills and proven ability to walk with a diverse range of communities.

We are looking for someone who is a good listener and enjoys working with people. Is a team player but able to work on their own initiative. Can work flexibly and manage a busy schedule of meetings and events.
