Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a rota coordinator within the Medical Workforce team. The role focuses on building and maintaining resident doctors' rotas in line with national contractual rules and regulations.

You will manage exception reporting, rostering systems, and provide training to colleagues. The role requires a degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of resident doctor terms and conditions, with collaboration across doctors, managers and rota coordinators to resolve

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent working experience at that level.
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain resident doctor rotas and work schedules.
• Support compliance with the Working Time Regulations and national terms and conditions.
• Act as the key contact for exception reporting and rota compliance queries.
• Provide training, guidance and support on rostering systems and processes.
• Monitor workforce data and produce reports to inform decisions.
• Work with clinical and operational teams to resolve rota issues.
• Support service improvement and the development of workforce solutions.
