Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Medical Rostering Officer to manage resident doctor rosters at Barnet Hospital, ensuring safe staffing and efficient use of locums. Based in Barnet, you will coordinate rosters, support meetings, and handle administrative tasks across the BCYP Division.

You will work closely with medical leads and rota coordinators, maintain audit trails, and support budget management while upholding NHS policies and functions within the Babies,

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience working in NHS settings and rota management.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and rostering tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly rosters and locum spend with internal swaps.
• Act as a point of contact for resident doctors and leads.
• Maintain directories and audit trails for shift swaps.
• Support meetings, procurement, minutes and data requests.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and optimal rosters within the BCYP division.
