Job description
Band 7 Research Nurse – Gynae Units, Chelsea

The Gynae Unit at the Royal Marsden is looking for an experienced research nurse to join our team. Full time is preferred but part time will be considered; please indicate this clearly in your supporting statement.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, administer and facilitate research projects in accordance with ICH‑GCP and Research Governance Guidelines.
  • Screen, recruit, support and advocate for patients in commercial, RMH‑sponsored and observational studies.
  • Coordinate and manage a clinical research portfolio, ensuring continued care and support for patients involved in clinical trials.
  • Work closely with the principal investigator and the multidisciplinary team to provide advice, information and act as patient advocate.
  • Recruit, educate and monitor patients entering a clinical trial.
Qualifications
  • Band 7 nurse with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and work flexibly.
  • Confidence to make decisions, solve problems and work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Oncology experience in gynae cancer is highly desirable.
  • Research experience is an essential requirement.
