An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the research team working on a variety of research studies across the area of women and children, this covers neonatal, paediatrics, maternity and fertility at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
This a varied role with a mix of admin and clerical support to enable the research team to recruit patients into trials.
The role involves clinic screening, sending GP letters, managing spreadsheets and using our research databases to add patients as well as other varied tasks.
Time management skills are therefore essential as is the ability to work autonomously. Previous experience in research is not essential, however a good knowledge of hospital IT systems would be an advantage and being a key player is integral to the role.
The post holder will provide data and administrative support to the Clinical Trials Team maintaining quality and content of data held within information systems, inputting and processing information / data. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Trials Facilitator and other clinical members of the Trials Team. However, the post holder will be required to work without direct supervision during routine tasks. The postholder will be required to undertake ICH Good Clinical Practice training and work to these standards at all times.
The Research & Innovation department is a growing department, with established collaborations across the region.
