The Opportunity

This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s School of Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The post holder will work on an externally funded research project to deliver the qualitative work package within an NIHR funded study which will explore why people from under‑served minority ethnic groups with long‑term physical conditions may not access or benefit from NHS Talking therapies.

The post‑holder will recruit participants and conduct (usually online or telephone) interviews with people from under‑served groups, primary care clinicians and practitioners from NHS Talking Therapies. The post‑holder will lead analysis and dissemination activities.

The post‑holder will have a PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent experience including conducting qualitative studies with older adults and primary care clinicians.
