OCR Alpha is expanding, and we’re hiring a Research Associate to support our Portfolio Management Search team, focused on Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodity (FICC) markets.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct research and talent mapping across hedge funds and investment banks, with a focus on FICC markets
• Identify, approach, and engage investment professionals
• Build detailed market intelligence and talent pipelines to support ongoing mandates
• Coordinate interviews, prepare candidates, and support process management end-to-end
• Support senior consultants in client meetings and contribute to search strategy
• Gather and synthesise market intel from various data vendors to support the PM team

Who You Are

• Degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline (advantageous, not essential)
• Experience in recruitment, resourcing, sales support, or any commercially driven environment is useful
• Exceptionally organised, able to manage multiple priorities with pace and accuracy
• Strong communicator, confident, articulate, and able to build rapport quickly
• Curious about financial markets and motivated to specialise in hedge fund talent acquisition
• Proactive, adaptable, and hungry to develop quickly in a high-performance environment
