About the role

The School of Computer Science and Mathematics at LJMU is pleased to offer a Research Assistant role in the UK-South Korea Collaborative R&D project, AMOS (AI-powered industrial asset management and energy optimisations system) funded by Innovate UK. AMOS aims to develop technology that provides manufacturers with AI-powered asset management and AI-powered energy optimisation technology to help meet business and decarbonisation goals. The project will help end-users to integrate data cost-effectively, reduce asset downtime, improve system performance, and reduce long term-carbon footprint.

This Research Assistant post is fixed for one year in the first instance. Further extension may be possible subject to the availability of funds.

Qualifications

You should hold a PhD degree in a computing related subject and have research and development experience in the following areas: Machine Learning/AI, Internet of Things technologies.
