A leading legal research firm is seeking a Research Analyst to write informative reports on law firm rankings. Candidates will analyze provided data, draw conclusions, and create compelling copy to address potential questions about rankings. The role requires the ability to summarize findings and maintain clarity while following house style. The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality output. Training will be provided for writing sophisticated reports on market trends.
Research Analysts on Chambers Insight are assigned a law firm's report to write and must use the data provided by research to draw sensible conclusions about what the reasons for the firm and its lawyers' rankings were. They write 200-400 words of compelling copy in every chapter of their report, with the aim of answering all of a firm's potential questions about the rankings. Part of their training involves learning how to write the most sophisticated Premium reports, which include an analysis of the entire market, including a discussion of competitor trends. They take ownership of each report assigned to them and regularly discuss their work with their Research Manager.
