Job summary

This role focuses on working within multidisciplinary teams to design user-centred and accessible services. Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end services across the full-service lifecycle.
• Create and maintain service blueprints, user journeys, and artefacts.
• Collaborate with product, design, delivery, research, and technical teams.
• Apply systems thinking to complex service problems.
• Ensure services meet GDS Service Standard and assessment requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders and users.

Skills

Proven experience as a Service Designer on GDS / UK public sector services

Strong understanding of the GDS Service Standard

Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams

Ability to design for accessibility and inclusion

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
